West Seattle Junction Association, along with Next to Nature presents Pet Junction at the 35th annual West Seattle Summer Fest! This 3-day street fair is hosted by the West Seattle Junction Association - an organization of local area businesses. This festival draws over 25,000 people for shopping, music, food, and community celebration.
2017 Festival dates and vending hours:

Saturday, July 15 - 10am-6pm
Sunday, July 16 - 11am-5pm
Vendor Fee $200 for all three days for 6ft vending table.

In choosing to be a Pet Junction vendor, you agree to follow the Summer Fest rules. Please read the following statements and check that you have read and agree.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: Festival Organizers reserve the right to reject any application if the product does not meet festival qualifications. No hazardous materials are allowed for sale nor any materials that are deemed unfit for sale by law or Festival Organizers.

CATEGORY: Only the items/services specified on your application may be represented at West Seattle Summer Fest (WSSF). For example, if you are a craft vendor you may NOT sell imported items. Also, no one may sell products that are exclusive to sponsorship contract agreements. Please be aware that Festival Organizers reserve the right to limit the number of accepted applicants per category to insure the proper representation of product, merchandise and services.

LICENSES, PERMITS, TAXES: In order to participate in the 2017 WSSF, vendors making sales are required to have a Washington State Unified Business Identification Number (UBI#). A current City of Seattle Business License is also required, even if you are not making sales. If you do not have a business license, you can pay $25 (3 days at $5 per day and a $10 processing fee) to participate under the event’s Trade Show License. Retail Sales Tax and Business and Occupation Tax are the sole responsibility of the applicant.
HOLD HARMLESS: Applicant agrees to protect, indemnify and hold harmless Monumental Undertaking, West Seattle Summer Fest, West Seattle Junction Association/BIA of West Seattle, their officers, employees, supervisors and representatives from any and all losses, liabilities, damages, injuries or rights of action directly or indirectly growing out of the use of the premises covered by this contract.
HOURS OF OPERATION: Vending hours are: Friday July 14, 10am-6pm; Saturday July 15, 10am-6pm ; and Sunday July 16, 11am-5pm. You must be open during these hours, but you may vend until 8pm on Friday and Saturday if you have customers. The Sunday 5pm end time is a HARD STOP so that we can safely prepare the street for load-out at 6pm.
LOAD-IN/LOAD-OUT: If accepted, you will receive load-in instructions following your acceptance letter. NO vehicles will be allowed to enter the festival grounds AFTER 9AM on Friday, July 14 and until 5PM on Sunday, July 16. Once final load-in instructions are sent, please note load-in and load-out start times - there will be NO early access to the festival grounds.
CLEAN UP: Vendors are responsible for cleaning up their booth site before loading out. Please respect the neighborhood and community by leaving your booth space clean.
RESTRICTIONS: No alcoholic beverages, loud amplified sound, televisions, and NO GENERATORS are allowed in the booths. WSSF reserves the right to restrict activities determined by WSSF staff to interfere with public areas, safety, or programming. This includes aggressive selling outside of your booth. All merchandise and equipment must fit into your booth space. No awnings, displays, or products in the fire lanes or pass-throughs.

AGREEMENT: The Festival Organizers (West Seattle Junction Association and Monumental Undertaking) implement all policies and are solely responsible for the management of the Festival. Festival Organizers actions and/or decisions are final. Your acceptance of this application, payment of fees, and your participation as a vendor at the festival are acknowledgements of your understanding and compliance with these Rules and Regulations. Any conduct contrary to these Rules and Regulations, or behavior, products, or displayed items deemed inappropriate by Festival Organizers shall be just cause for Festival Organizers to immediately request vendor to cease such activities. Festival Organizers may revoke said vendor’s permit and request said vendor to immediately vacate the premises if vendor fails to comply with the request to cease and desist. Furthermore, The Festival Organizers may remove all property of said vendor from the premises at vendor’s expense. The Festival shall not be responsible for storage of said property and is released and held harmless for any loss or damage of said property as a result of such removal.
COMPLIANCE: Submitting an application is a declaration that you have read the above rules and regulations and will abide by ALL throughout your association with West Seattle Summer Fest 2017.
